Looking forward to soon be getting back to the pearl in the Mediterranean – Majorca. I may be uploading a post or two about interesting art that touches the spiritual theme of this blog, and to be able to do that I use the services of a great new company renting mobile wifi. It is really fantastic and has kept two teenagers quite content for two weeks, never having to chase that wifi or pay for 30 minutes of slow internet somewhere.
If you travel, I guess you know the situation. Perhaps you sat down in a restaurant that claims free wifi only to find it works only very close to the kitchen deep inside the place. Or maybe you found a great apartment or house to rent at a great price but it doesn’t come with that wifi that you will need in the evenings when the kids are asleep, so you had to find another more expensive rental, or one not as nice?
Light blue morning mist in Alcudia bay and a seat perfect for both the spiritual and for connecting with the world.

On a few trips to Mallorca now, I have rented a small mobile gadget – mobile wifi – that has worked perfectly well everywhere I used it. Soller, Alcudia bay, Can Picafort, Cala Ratjada, Cala d’Or, inland and Palma of course. I have even used it as GPS for driving, that saved me from getting lost a couple of times…
Works all the way out on the Formentor northernmost point (where even the phone connection disappeared) and all the way down to the southwest in Sant Elm.
(Not tried on a boat and not down in Sa Calobra yet.)
It’s very easy, you order, pay in advance, pick it up at the airport or at the central bus station and leave it there on departure. The company people are very nice to deal with and I highly recommend them.
